The observation deck of Mt. Daikichi (Mt. Buttoku) is a 20-minute walk from the Sawarabi-no-michi trail, which takes you through areas linked to the Tale of Genji. You can look down on the Hoo-do Hall (Phoenix Hall) at Byodoin Temple, and on clear days, you can even see Mt. Rokko. The hiking trail that stretches from Mt. Daikichi (131m above sea level) to Mt. Asahi (124m above sea level) is easy to walk on, and you can enjoy the scenery of the four seasons.
