Gotemba's favorite event in spring, The 22nd Gotemba Cherry Blossom Festival will be held on March 30th and 31st.

In the area centered around Chichibunomiya Memorial Park, which will be the main venue, visitors will be greeted by a 1km-long row of cherry blossom trees.

On the day of the festival, events such as short cherry blossom tours with souvenirs will be held, and there will also be stalls.

The night cherry blossom illumination is scheduled to take place from late March to early April, when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.

The 130-year-old weeping cherry tree in Chichibunomiya Memorial Park has been designated as a Japan Night View Heritage Site.
